Horse Racing is a great sport. There is literally an infinite amount of information available for pretty much every race. When trying to make your own picks there are varying degrees of lengths that people go to to find their chosen horses. Some people just like to look at the past form of the horses competing in a race while some like to go as far as going down to the stables of the horses and seeing them train for the race to see for themselves what sort of form they are in.
Regardless of which camp you fall into you will have probably thought to yourself at one point that paying a professional tipster would be good for your game as it will provide you with some free time and will gain you some cash! Seems like a win-win doesn’t it. Well sometimes it can be as long as you follow the following precautionary tips:
1) Only use a tipping service that shows you the results – Some tipping services simply claim that they have 10/10 of the last races. How do you know they are not lying? I could easily say that I have picked the winner in every race for the past year but it wouldn’t be true!
2) Only use a tipping service that shows monthly profits consistently – This may seem obvious but lots of people overlook the month by month data in favor of the running total. A service may possibly be in profit for the past 5 years but has had 6 out of the last 7 months losing, this is obviously a system you would not want. However a service that shows small but consistent profits is one that you definitely want to check out.
3) Always check out what their typical bet is – Some services claim that they are in profit for over 900 in the past month. However if they are making bets at 1000 per race then this is not that great. However a service that claims 1400 in the past month with 25 a race then this is much better.
